What would you suggest as good pub to meet at that has good parking, not very noisy and/or a room for presentations on topics, and is on a public transit route.

  • Oh ya and just so you know, between posts I was punching mitochondria. YA WHAT? WHAT?!

    Feb 17, 2012 9:36 PM
  • Uuuummmmm I do not think I heard you correctly, mitochondria beat chloroplasts. If it was not for the first photosynthetic cyanobacteria the Earth has we know it would not exist. Mitochondria and their surface area increasing cristae can suck it! Oh and that green pic of me is when I was cosplaying poison ivy at FanExpo in Toronto two summers ago. PLANTS RULE!

  • OH you were talking about the AGTC reference. oops. Adenine, guanine, thymine and cytosine are the nitrogenous bases that form the "ladder" structure on the inside of the double helix. The backbone of DNA is compose primarily of phosphates and sugars. I love science... :)

  • Chlorophyll? How did you know that I have a intellectual infatuation with Photosystem II and Photosystem I? The cellular mechanics associated with the Thylakiod membrane almost trump my fascination for the endosymbitotic theory relating to chlorophyll....mmmmm I love plants.

  • I have a DNA tattoo too. I bet my DNA can beat up your DNA!! Welcome fellow AGTC enthusiast
